IDENTITY
DCXI (DC Eleven) brings a game-changing approach to soccer. The club is structured to meet players where they are and then demanding that they reach their potential by orchestrating an environment where the desire to improve and grow is overwhelming. DCXI is dedicated to the process of development , this often requires learning challenging lessons. We primarily scout players and families that understand our long-term planning.

Dedicated to inclusion, we work with families through our 501(c)3 to ensure that every player has an opportunity to grow with us.
HISTORY
DC Eleven Football Club or DCXI was born from the harmonious convergence of two renowned clubs: Jouons Football Club and the Washington Youth Soccer Association (WYSA). These clubs shared a common vision, continuously collaborating to provide an exceptional football experience to their respective players. In 2019, recognizing the benefits of pooling their resources, they decided to merge, forming the formidable DC Eleven.
This union opened up new avenues of opportunity, enabling DC Eleven to elevate the standards of player development. Even amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, the club remained unwavering in its commitment to its players. They ingeniously offered limited footballing experiences while supplementing them with digital content, ensuring that the players' passion stayed alive.
DC Eleven's creation represents a profound connection to local history, intertwining the legacies of two distinguished clubs. It serves as a testament to the transformative power of unity and progress, fostering a sense of pride in the traditions and heritage that shape the local footballing landscape. As DC Eleven continues to chart its illustrious path, it inspires all who engage with its story, reminding us of the enduring impact of collaboration, dedication, and the celebration of our shared past.

At DC Eleven, we stand united with our community, driven by a shared purpose of enhancing the lives of those who contribute to the vibrant tapestry of Takoma. LEVELING THE FIELD
At DC Eleven, we are passionately committed to fostering a sense of community and providing equal opportunities for every child to express themselves through soccer. We understand that socio-economic barriers can hinder participation in our club for many of our neighbors. That's why we actively engage in fundraising activities through our 501c3 organization, which is driven and led by an incredible group of parents who share our vision.
One of the highlights of our fundraising efforts is the annual gala, where we bring together the collective power of our community's generosity. The gala represents the culmination of our endeavors to alleviate socio-economic barriers, enabling us to expand our reach and impact in the world of soccer. We firmly believe that every child should have the chance to thrive in soccer, regardless of their background.
We extend a warm invitation to our entire community to participate and support our mission through the gala. Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of countless young soccer players, giving them the chance to shine and grow through this beautiful sport. To learn more about our efforts and join us in this noble cause, please visit dcxiproject.com/gala and email partnerships@dcxiproject.com. Let's stand together in making dreams come true for our youth, as we cherish our values of community, privacy, and the boundless potential that lies within each and every child.
